8. Haunted Happenings at The Emily Morgan Hotel

San Antonio, Texas

Get into the spooky spirit in San Antonio by making reservations at one of the most haunted hotels in the world. Many past guests have reported paranormal activity after spending the night at The Emily Morgan Hotel.

Why is The Emily Morgan Hotel so haunted? To start, it was constructed on the grounds where the Mexican Forces battled the Texans in the Long Barracks of the Alamo in 1836, where over 600 men lost their lives. Plus, the hotel structure was originally used as the Medical Arts Building, with a section devoted to the care of those suffering from psychological conditions, as well as a morgue and crematorium.

It includes an overnight stay, a special Halloween gift, a welcome cocktail, breakfast in bed featuring boo-berry pancakes, and complimentary valet parking.
